We collect information you provide directly to us, including: • Account information: Name, email address, and profile photo from Google or Apple Sign-In • Location data: Your approximate location to match you with nearby groups • Activity preferences: Your interests, availability, and group size preferences collected during onboarding • Usage data: Meetups attended, ratings given, and messages sent within groups • Device information: Push notification tokens and device identifiers

We use the information we collect to: • Match you with compatible groups based on your preferences • Schedule and propose meetups at convenient times and locations • Send push notifications about upcoming meetups and group activity • Improve our matching algorithm and activity recommendations • Communicate with you about your account and our services • Protect against fraud and maintain platform safety

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only: • With other group members: Your name and profile photo are visible to members of groups you join • With service providers: Google Maps API for venue suggestions, Google AdMob for advertising • When required by law: To comply with legal obligations or respond to valid legal requests • To protect rights: To enforce our terms or protect users' safety

We use these third-party services: • Google OAuth & Apple Sign-In for authentication • Google Maps & Places API for location and venue data • Google AdMob for displaying advertisements • Supabase for backend infrastructure and database services Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your information.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You can request account deletion at any time from the Profile screen. When you delete your account, we: • Remove your profile information within 30 days • Anonymize your message history (messages remain but are no longer associated with your identity) • Remove you from all groups and pending meetups

crwded is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will promptly delete that information.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
